Verified local facts
The responsibility charter uses four sealed chambers—source, analysis, commerce and choice—so authority and incentives cannot leak into one another.
Source chamber
Primary records enter with owner, address, checked date, allowed use and excluded inference. The Bank of Mauritius list may establish listed legal identities; its legislation page helps locate official instruments. Neither endorses Credizen. Provider pages remain provider speech. A source is admitted for competence, not prestige, and a conflict remains visible until resolved.
Analysis chamber
Credizen turns bounded facts into worksheets, verification steps and questions. Household budgeting, document organisation and stop rules are clearly editorial tools. They are not attributed to a regulator for extra authority. Unknown values are preserved, and a method is offered when evidence cannot support a direct answer. The explanation must be reproducible by a reviewer.
Commerce chamber
Advertising and affiliate relationships, if present in the wider service, do not choose sources, inclusion or verdict. A provider cannot buy a favourable finding. A name appearing in an example is not an award, while absence is not criticism. Commercial interfaces must not disguise an application as independent comparison or pressure a reader after an unresolved risk.
Choice chamber
The reader retains the decision, including reducing, delaying or avoiding new debt. Credizen does not approve applications, broker a contract or guarantee a product. A guide should make trade-offs and evidence gaps easier to see, not replace the household's judgement. A complete quotation and personal circumstances remain outside a public article's knowledge.
Wall inspections
Reviewers test whether a regulator statement has drifted into recommendation, provider marketing into fact, advertising into order or editorial caution into a promise. Headings, calls to action and link labels are inspected as well as paragraphs. If a wall has failed, the affected route is rebuilt. Adding a disclaimer underneath a misleading block does not restore separation.
Correction hatch
A sourced correction identifies URL, exact claim, competent evidence and requested change. The editor maps every dependent heading and conclusion, then confirms, narrows, replaces or removes. Bank of Mauritius complaint procedure is not the route for correcting Credizen prose; our contact channel handles public-content issues. Personal banking cases stay with their responsible bodies.
Accountability register
Each route records author, reviewers, source choices, language examination and update reason. A signature shows responsibility for the editorial process, not expertise conferred by a public authority. Rejected wording is retained in the audit history. Review triggers include changed evidence, broken links and substantiated challenges, allowing maintenance to focus on affected claims.
Charter verdict
A page proceeds only when all chambers and walls are intact, its decision tool is distinct and every external proposition has custody. Failure keeps the current public state rather than releasing a mixed version. Legal pages are protected outside this programme. The verdict is editorial readiness alone: it does not certify a lender, make a recommendation or promise that a reader will obtain financing. The signed finding also names the next review trigger and the exact chamber affected. That makes future maintenance accountable without implying that today's inspection can guarantee tomorrow's evidence, interface or household outcome.
