Verified local facts
The dated evidence directory gives every provider claim an owner, exact page, checked date, permissible use, unknown field and recheck trigger before it can enter comparison.
Evidence reviewed
Help a Mauritius household build a provider evidence list using attributable evidence and a stop condition.
Decision checklist
The dated evidence directory gives every provider claim an owner, exact page, checked date, permissible use, unknown field and recheck trigger before it can enter comparison; review marker 127 applies this device only to “build a provider evidence list Mauritius” and the evidence boundaries named on this page.
Design drawers before collecting names
Define legal identity, product relevance, cost evidence, service route, personal quotation and unknowns as separate drawers. Write the household decision fields first. This prevents a famous name or search result from setting the directory structure. Each drawer accepts only attributable evidence of its own type. A blank drawer is visible and cannot be filled from another provider, another product or a general assumption about Mauritius lending.
Register legal identity precisely
From Bank of Mauritius licensee material, capture the exact displayed name, category or status supported, page and checked date. Keep aliases or brand names in a separate note until their relationship is attributable. Do not infer product availability, channel ownership or suitability from inclusion. Where a name is absent or ambiguous, record the search and uncertainty without publishing an unlicensed conclusion from silence.
Register each product page separately
Create one product record per exact provider page and label its owner. The MCB personal-loan page supports visible MCB statements; the MauBank personal-loan page supports visible MauBank statements. Capture wording, checked date and the field it answers. Do not summarise several pages into a synthetic generic loan. A changed product label or URL opens a new edition rather than silently replacing history.
Register rate material with context
Attach the MCB rates material only to the exact MCB context it supports. Record currency, basis, date or period and qualifiers shown. Do not convert it into a MauBank value, a household quotation or a general market benchmark. If the relationship between material and product is unclear, keep a link question rather than completing the cost drawer. Calculations cannot repair missing source context.
Create a private quotation drawer
For quotations received by the household, preserve provider, product, amount, currency, term, rate basis, charges, conditions, expiry and delivery channel when stated. Keep personal identifiers private. A quotation is not public directory data and cannot be used to describe what another reader will receive. It also does not prove final approval, contract, signature or disbursement. Later editions remain linked, not overwritten.
Write claim boundaries beside claims
Each row says both what the evidence supports and what it cannot support. A licensee observation cannot support a product. A product page cannot support personal eligibility. Published MCB rate material cannot support MauBank. A quotation cannot support market ranking. Boundaries travel with exported comparison rows so a later reviewer does not see a value without its owner, date and restriction.
Schedule trigger-based maintenance
Recheck after a provider-name conflict, product-page change, rate-material edition change, quotation expiry, household-purpose change or decision date. Different drawers keep independent clocks. Preserve prior evidence to explain what informed an earlier choice. Do not label a record current merely because one drawer was refreshed. A provider entry becomes decision-ready only when all essential drawers for this household are sufficiently current.
Audit and prune the directory
A second reviewer traces every populated field to exact evidence and tests every blank for disguised inference. Remove orphan links, duplicate provider identities and claims outside their boundary. Pruning does not mean a provider ceased operating or offering products; it means the directory lacks current evidence needed for this decision. The final directory reports scope and omissions plainly, enabling a bounded shortlist without claiming completeness or recommendation. Add a directory reconciliation day with three independent passes. The identity pass compares exact legal names and observed status context without opening product pages. The product pass reviews only publisher-owned product records and cannot see the household's preferred provider. The quotation pass checks private document fields against provider and product identity but cannot alter either public drawer. Combine the passes only after each has produced a defect list. This separation exposes silent normalisation, such as shortening a legal name to match a brand, carrying an MCB rate into a MauBank row or treating a quotation expiry as a public product withdrawal. Resolve defects by obtaining bounded attributable evidence; never by editing the directory until records appear consistent. Then create a negative-evidence register. It records pages searched, dates and fields not found, but labels them unobserved rather than unavailable. This prevents absence from becoming a claim while showing why a comparison cell remains blank. Next, sample five populated cells and ask a reviewer to reproduce them from exact page, wording, date and boundary. Sample five blank cells and ask whether any hidden estimate, provider crossover or stale record is trying to fill them. The directory passes only if both samples are reproducible. Publishable outputs contain no private quotation, personal identifier or unsupported market coverage statement. The closing certificate names the directory scope, providers actually evidenced, decision date and unresolved fields. It confirms auditability, not completeness, approval, quality or endorsement.
