⚠️ Credizen Is Not a Lender

Credizen is a loan comparison platform operated by Maloni s.r.o.. We do not issue loans, set interest rates, approve or deny applications, or hold any lending licence in any Canadian province or territory. We provide information and tools to help consumers compare loan offers from FCAC-regulated, provincially licensed lenders.

General Information

The content on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, or any other professional advice. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any borrowing decisions.

Accuracy of Information

While we strive to keep the information on Credizen accurate and up-to-date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website.

Loan terms, APR rates, fees, eligibility criteria, and other product details are sourced from publicly available information and lender-provided data. These may change at any time without notice. Always verify terms directly with the lender before applying.

APR Representation

Annual Percentage Rate (APR) figures displayed on Credizen are representative examples based on publicly available data. Your actual APR may differ based on your credit profile, loan amount, loan term, province of residence, and the lender's assessment criteria.

In Canada, APR disclosure is governed by the Cost of Borrowing (Banks) Regulations under the Bank Act for federally regulated institutions, and by provincial consumer protection legislation for provincially licensed lenders. Credizen displays APR information in accordance with these regulations.

Affiliate Relationships

Credizen earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with some of the lenders featured on our platform. When you click on a link to a lender's website and subsequently apply for or take out a loan, we may receive a commission from the lender.

Important: Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content, rankings, or recommendations. Our methodology and editorial policy ensure that all comparisons are based on objective criteria. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" in accordance with search engine guidelines.

Provincial Regulation

Lending in Canada is regulated at both the federal and provincial levels. The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) oversees federally regulated financial institutions, while each province and territory has its own payday lending and consumer protection legislation.

Maximum allowable cost of borrowing for payday loans varies by province. For example:

  • Ontario: $15 per $100 borrowed
  • British Columbia: $15 per $100 borrowed
  • Alberta: $15 per $100 borrowed
  • Saskatchewan: $17 per $100 borrowed
  • Manitoba: $17 per $100 borrowed

Regulations change. Always check with your provincial consumer protection office or the FCAC for current rules.

Credit Score Impact

Using Credizen's comparison tool does not affect your credit score. However, when you apply for a loan directly with a lender, the lender may conduct a hard credit inquiry through Equifax Canada or TransUnion Canada, which may temporarily affect your credit score. Consult the lender's application process for details.

Third-Party Websites

Credizen contains links to third-party websites, including lender websites, regulatory bodies, and educational resources. We have no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external sites and accept no responsibility for them. Clicking an external link is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Credizen (operated by Maloni s.r.o.) shall not be liable for any loss or damage, including without limitation indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or reliance on any information provided herein.
